St Vincent's Timeline
25th January 1988 – St Vincent’s Hospice opens its door to the first patients in its original building on North Road in Johnstone.

1st October 1992 - St Vincent’s Hospice becomes a registered charity.
25th January 1993 – The hospice is relocated to Howwood to a completely renovated building to meet the growing demands for palliative care in the area.
The new St Vincent’s Hospice, Midton Road, Howwood
1993 - Day hospice starts its services to meet the needs of the local community in Renfrewshire and Community nursing starts in the local area to help patients stay in their own homes whilst dealing with life limiting illnesses.
1st of June 1993 – The new hospice is officially opened by the Duchess of Norfolk.
2000 - Millennium year; St Vincent’s receives lottery funding and opens a purpose built 8-bedded wing for patients.
20th November 2009 – On its 21st anniversary, The Provost of Renfrewshire Council throws a Civic Reception to celebrate. The hospice also adopts a brand new logo.
25th of January 2013 – St Vincent’s Hospice celebrates 25 years in caring for those with life limiting illnesses in Renfrewshire.
