Full-Time, Permanent, Quality Improvement Practitioner
37.5 hours per week
AFC Band 7 Salary
St. Vincent's Hospice is a charitable organisation at the heart of the community, offering specialised care and services to all those affected by life-limiting illness. Providing palliative and end of life care, our team of specialist, dedicated staff provide care, support, and guidance in our 8 patient bedded unit, our day hospice, and in people’s own homes.
We are recruiting for a Quality Improvement Practitioner to join our Clinical Effectiveness team to lead the strategic development and implementation of a quality improvement programme including education and training for clinical and non-clinical staff within the hospice.
The ideal candidate will be a First Level Registered Nurse with significant post registration experience, be educated to higher degree level or equivalent, have experience in teaching and learning of adults, project management and leadership skills, be able to present to/facilitate both small and large groups, have excellent organisational and planning skills, have the ability to motivate others and have excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
The preferred candidate is required to become a PVG Scheme member or undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update if already a member (this will be paid for by St Vincent’s Hospice) as well as complete a Health Questionnaire prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
